Not surprisingly I have always thought that Travel Generation is the coolest – and finally I think everyone else is finding out too. We have had a great week with media. Firstly, last week both More FM and the Breeze 92 reported about the launch of Travel Generation on the radio and now this week we have features in the Queenstown Times which is distributed in the centre of the Otago Daily Times and the Tourim Insight Newsletter.

The thing that people are most excited about with Travel Generation is the viral nature of the travel plan sharing. We actually spent yesterday afternoon planning the next steps and going through the feedback we are getting from this testing it. Over the next week we will be launching a developers blog to keep the community informed, solving all the cross browser issues we have had with the bookmarklet itself, and making it easier to bookmark pages within the travel plan without using the bookmarklet.

You can understand why we are pretty excited. The launch of Travel Generation and the increased press has also had a real positive spin off on SwuzzleBucket advertising with Aquarius Backpackers coming on board for another six month, and AirlieBeach.com and Nomads Worlds Hostels also signing up.
